Event Description: Join us in honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at the annual Day of Gathering. This FREE event is open to community members of all ages. Enjoy youth performances, guest speakers, including the Mayors of Palo Alto and East Palo Alto, as well as connect with community organizations. There will also be fun youth-led activities for the whole family!
Volunteer Job Description: Event CLEAN UP Volunteers will support the breakdown and clean up of the community event. They will put tables and chairs away, pack up event supplies, and help with other end of event tasks. The Event Clean Up Volunteers will work closely with YCS staff to ensure all of the clean up tasks are completed. We encourage Clean Up Volunteers to come early to enjoy the event before breakdown begins.
