The Community Compost Hub Program provides the community with the opportunity to learn how to divert their compostable food-waste into gardening compost in San Mateo County. Through our workshops, volunteer workdays, and community resources, we equip families with the skills and means to convert their food scraps into rich gardening compost to continue to grow healthy fruits and vegetables. We ask that you bring a water bottle and wear closed toe shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. We will provide all tools, but feel free to bring your own gloves if you prefer.
Age: All ages! Volunteers <14 must attend with a parent or guardian.
