Join High School students from across the San Francisco Bay Area for up to 6 weeks where you will learn skills to make a difference in the community. The YCS Summer of Service is a service program for youth to engage in community leadership and civic engagement. Youth will have the opportunity to work together to plan service projects for the community, develop messaging and storytelling skills, and practice leadership and public speaking skills in a supportive, fun, engaging environment.
YCS Summer of Service will include: leadership training, teambuilding, team service projects, additional service opportunities facilitated by YCS with our many community partners, and opportunities to lead others in service.
The 6-week program will be offered in two-week sessions. Students can register for one, two, or all three sessions. Each session will have a different focus on essential leadership qualities.
