Join Environmental Volunteers in the Palo Alto Baylands Nature Preserve and help restore important marshland habitat by removing invasive species!
Activities will involve bending, digging, lifting, and walking over uneven terrain. Gloves, hand picks, and other tools will be provided.
Participants should dress appropriately for gardening outdoors. Please bring a water bottle, hat, and sun screen.
Meeting Point/Parking: We will meet at the EV EcoCenter at 8:40am and begin the event promptly at 9:00am. Restrooms and water are available in the building. There is free parking in the North and South parking lots of the preserve.
Volunteers must be 12+years of age. 25 volunteers needed.
Waiver: ALL volunteers attending the workday must have a signed Participant Waiver. Youth under 18 must have their legal guardian approve the waiver on their behalf.
