Garden volunteering consists of a mix of garden maintenance tasks that include: planting, weeding, watering, and general garden beautification.
This is a great volunteer opportunity for students who are interested in plants, horticulture, sustainability and ecology.

Volunteers must be 12+ years of age.Students please check the Garden volunteer- Dirty Knees box and check the box asking if they are affiliated with YCS. This allows us to keep track of our expected volunteers.
After filling out the volunteer intake form students will get a volunteer waiver in their emails.
Students must have their volunteer waivers signed by their guardians before they come to volunteer in the garden.
When volunteers arrive for volunteer shifts they will meet at the Horticultural Shop near our Embarcadero parking lot.
