BAYMEC is a trailblazing Bay Area LGBTQ+ political advocacy organization that has advanced inclusive policies and promoted LGBT politicians and allies for over 40 years.
The BAYMEC Brunch is an annual gala that celebrates the organization's achievements and uplifts local elected officials and those considering running for office. There will be live entertainment, speeches, and designated networking time with dozens of elected officials.
Volunteering for the BAYMEC BRUNCH is an exciting opportunity to help out this community organization and participate in the event yourself! The event is taking place on Sunday, October 12th at the Signia by Hilton hotel in downtown San Jose. Volunteering will be from 6:30am to 2pm. Volunteers are needed to help with setup / cleanup, as well as miscellaneous tasks during the gala itself.
Some benefits of volunteering include free admission to this event which is $200 a ticket for general admission, an excellent networking opportunity where you’ll be able to network with several hundred local organizers and elected officials, and getting your volunteer hours signed off. Lunch is provided.
FILL OUT THE SIGN UP FORM BY Friday, October 3rd. Reach out to abyshing@gmail.com for any questions.
Volunteers must be 13 yrs +
