BlackYAB has supported two cohorts and is now recruiting for its third. We are looking for at least 10 Black Identifying youth across San Mateo County 7th-12th grade to share your voice, gain leadership training, lead community events that have reached over 200 peers and families. BlackYAB Members must attend school or live in San Mateo County and willing to attend meetings and plan. They will get community service hours, recommendation letters, and financial incentive. We want diverse lived experience and all genders are welcomed.
